Dana Wallach, MA, LMFT is a Marriage and Family Therapist. She is licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and California.
Dana specilizes in the treatment of sex addiction, love addiction, codependency and compulsive behaviors (compulsive overeating, binge eating, internet addiction); for those suffering with addiction, their significant others and couples. She is the founder and director of The Center for Recovery. Dana works with her California clients at her offices in Solana Beach, CA in North County San Diego. Dana also practices via telephone, confidential video chat and email; for clients in both California and Massachusetts.
Dana trained to treat sexual addiction and compulsivity at the Sexual Recovery Institute (SRI) in Beverly Hills, CA; supervised by sexual compulsivity experts Rob Weiss, LCSW and Omar Minwalla, PsyD. While practicing at SRI, she developed the Spouses and Partners of Sex Addicts Intensive Program and the Coaddicts Psychoeducation and Support Group. Additionally, she held the position of Director of Intake and Admissions at Bridges to Recovery in Los Angeles, CA, a residential treatment facility for co-occurring disorders.
Dana moved to Massachusetts from California in 2008. Before opening The Center for Recovery, she developed and directed the Co-Occurring Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program at UMass Memorial Medical Center's Ambulatory Outpatient Psychiatry facility.
She returned to California in 2017 to open The Center for Recovery West.
